The
Les Duncan
Show
The last words my mother spoke to me were, "Leslie, you always provided the excitement in our house." She wasn't wrong. This is that story — all of it.
Seven brain hemorrhages.
Thirteen "no's."
One extraordinary life.
A life in five episodes
I grew up poor in Wichita, Kansas — a family of four in a two-bedroom, one-bathroom house. From there, life took me further than anyone could have predicted:
- A decorated officer in the United States Air Force
- A top-level executive at four Fortune 50 companies
- Chairman of the board for two startup companies
- Author of eight books offering a roadmap through challenges like the ones I've overcome
- A husband still not worthy of the beautiful, kind, and caring woman I married
- A father who always placed God and family before work
- A devout Christian
- And a survivor of seven massive brain hemorrhages, debilitating strokes, and risky brain surgeries
